FrontRunner Adds Guest RSVP Feature to the Book of Memories 

FrontRunner Professional is excited to add another feature to the Book of Memories. As the limits on funeral service attendance begin to relax, funeral homes need a way of reopening safely to the public. The new Book of Memories RSVP Feature allows guests to confirm their attendance at a funeral service and reserve an available seat.  

“With regulations across North America loosening, we want to help funeral homes stay safe. The RSVP Feature allows funeral homes to set a maximum guest capacity so they can adhere to their local gathering regulations,” says Jules Green, CEO of FrontRunner Professional.  

The RSVP Feature gives funeral homes the control they need to safely host larger gatherings. To reserve a seat, guests must complete a brief registration form. The contact information that is collected helps funeral homes keep track of who is entering their facility. Under the circumstances that a guest is later diagnosed with COVID-19, you can notify the other guests who were in attendance as a precaution.  

Once the set number of reservations is reached, the tool will not accept any additional ones. Instead, the funeral home can set a message to appear. This message could be used to offer an alternative way to view the service if a live stream online will be available. 

“The last thing anyone wants is someone showing up for a service and not being to enter the facility. The Book of Memories RSVP Feature is the perfect way to create a guest list and tell the community if there is still availability to attend. If you’re at capacity, you can let people know ahead of time and share a link to watch the service online from home instead. It’s going to help make welcoming more guests back into your facility safer” adds Green.
